In the year 2050, the thirteen white ships of the Subaltern Constellation arrived in Earth orbit. In response, Earth’s governments launched their entire nuclear arsenal. The Constellation was destroyed and the atmosphere was poisoned. Twelve Terror Engines fell to Earth and are now the only power sources capable of supporting civilization.
